一项研究发现,经过遗传改造的缺乏D2多巴胺受体的小鼠表现出了冲动行为的增加,而这种受体在大脑中央的杏仁核的恢复减少了冲动性;使用光遗传学方法激活连接中央杏仁核与终纹区域的床核的抑制性神经元也能减少冲动性,这提示了多巴胺调控冲动性的机制。
