增强放射性疗法的有效性

科研人员报告说，美国食品药品管理局批准的药物罂粟碱抑制了线粒体功能，这独立于它此前已知的血管舒张活性，而且减少了小鼠肿瘤模型的肿瘤氧消耗和组织缺氧，因此也就增加了肿瘤对放射性疗法的敏感性，而不会增强富氧的正常组织的敏感性，这提示可以赋予罂粟碱增强放射性疗法效果的新用途。
