巴西的农田的迅速扩张

科研人员报告说，根据对有空间细节的卫星影像的分析，在2000年到2014年之间，精细中耕农田区域从2600万公顷增加到了4610万公顷，其中大约80%是由于牧场转换为农田，20%是由于天然植被转换；在干旱的塞拉多热带稀树草原的扩张是在亚马逊森林扩张的2.5倍，总体的动态反映了市场环境、土地使用政策和其他因素。
