来自种子油的人乳脂肪替代品

科研人员改造了油料种子植物拟南芥的代谢，从而制造出了三脂酰甘油，在其中，70%以上的饱和脂肪酸棕榈酸酯连接在了这个甘油骨架的中间位置上，因此也就模仿了人乳脂肪的立体化学，人乳脂肪可能促进婴儿消化道的营养物质吸收；用类似方式修改的油料种子作物可能为婴儿配方奶粉提供人乳脂肪的一种廉价而可持续的替代品。
