昼夜节律时钟调控者的作用

科研人员报告说,考虑到TIMELESS基因的一个突变导致这种蛋白积累并与昼夜节律的负调控者结合,在果蝇的昼夜节律中起到了一个作用并且在哺乳动物昼夜节律中起到未知作用的TIMELESS蛋白,很可能参与了调控小的睡眠阶段变化;这组作者说,这种突变与小鼠的阶段提前有关联,而且还可能与人类的睡眠阶段提前有关系。
