全新世层间水涌出

科研人员根据来自海洋微化石的碳同位素比率,报告了来自鄂霍茨克海的层间水涌出目前,这种层间水的涌出帮助阻止了北太平洋缺氧的扩散在6000年之前显著减少,与今天相比,当时海洋表面温度升高,而且海冰减少;这组作者提出,在未来气候变暖的情况下,预计可能会出现类似的涌出与氧合作用的减少。
