科研人员通过对151户家庭的调查、62个开放式的调查,以及用电压测量的方式监测坦桑尼亚Unguja岛上的电网,从而研究了这个岛的电力服务质量,结果发现接入电网的家庭的电压质量显著变化,以至于极端的电力涨落导致了灯太暗无法使用以及电器损坏和停电,这提示低收入的Unguja居民没能获得现代能源服务的收益。
