Hoboken, NJ--September 7, 2017-- (NYSE:JWa) (NYSE:JWb) announced today that it will publish the Journal of Periodontology and Clinical Advances in Periodontics on behalf of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), effective in 2018. This agreement will see the journals move to the Wiley Online Library platform and the conversion of Clinical Advances in Periodontics from its current e-only format to a full print publication distributed to all AAP members. Wiley and the AAP also announced that Pharmaceutical Media, Inc. (PMI) will provide full-service advertising sales support for both journals as well as other AAP content assets.
Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that specializes in treating the supporting tissues of the teeth and in the placement, maintenance, and treatment of dental implants.
