关于一个网络任务切换游戏的194,695 名用户的数据的一项研究发现，练习可以改善激活相关任务所需的时间，但是对于让不相关任务失活所需的时间几乎没有影响；此外，练习特别能够让71到80岁年龄组的用户受益，在经过密集练习之后，他们的成绩类似于几乎没有练习的年轻用户。
