登革热疫苗有效性与病毒遗传多样性

对年龄在2到16岁的3万多人参与的一种登革热疫苗的两个3期临床试验的一项统计分析提示，疫苗有效性随着疫苗与在2到8岁儿童中间循环的病毒的抗原氨基酸不匹配程度而下降，但是在9到16岁儿童中间并非如此，这可能是由于疫苗在此前暴露于该病毒的年龄更大的儿童中间引发了一种广泛保护性应答。
