Hoboken, N.J --October 24, 2018-- John Wiley and Sons Inc. (NYSE:JWa) (NYSE:JWb) has announced that the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) has chosen to extend their publishing partnership with Wiley with the transition of their international journal Near Surface Geophysics. The journal began publishing on Wiley Online Library in August 2018 and will be available for subscription from Wiley beginning January 2019. The EAGE also partners with Wiley for the publication of Basin Research and Geophysical Prospecting.
Near Surface Geophysics, established in 2003, is an international journal for the publication of research and development in geophysics applied to near surface. It places emphasis on geological, hydrogeological, geotechnical, environmental, engineering, mining, archaeological, agricultural and other applications of geophysics as well as physical soil and rock properties. The journal is peer-reviewed and indexed in the Science Citation Index Expanded.
