Nanomedicinal Approaches Towards Cardiovascular Disease is a simple. Informative reference on cardiovascular Nano medicine for scholars, healthcare professionals and nanotechnology enthusiasts, alike, which provides holistic knowledge on the subject in a single volume.

Book introduces Nano medicine regenerative medicine in cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular diagnosis and therapeutics. It includes 13 chapters that cover Nano technological aspects of cardiovascular diseases, contributed by expert scholars with bibliographic reference.

It also highlights advanced topics such as cardiovascular nanotheranositics, cardiac reprogramming, biomimetic, drug delivery systems and smart nanomaterial.

 

About the Authors:

Dr. Zeenat Iqbal is a senior faculty working at the Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER), Jamia Hamdard University. She has earned her doctorate in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard. A gold medalist at both undergraduate and post graduate level. She is defined as a proactive member of the teaching fraternity with penchant for quality education and research. An active research supervisor with h-index of 31, 166 research publications, and 08 books, she has also co-authored 3 books encompassing pharmaceutical technology and Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and has one patent granted in her name with three patents co-filed. She has been the Chairperson of ICC, POSH, CCRUM, Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India. She has won a number of awards and is a life member of professional bodies like IPA, IPGA, ISAS, APA and NESA

Dr. Fahima Dilnawaz is working as Scientist in the laboratory of Nano medicine at Department of Science and Technology, Institute of Life Sciences, India. She received her doctorate in Botany from Utkal University, and Post-graduation, Master of Philosophy in Botany from Utkal and Berhampur University respectively.Her research interest encompasses different polymeric, magnetic, mesoporous nanoparticles based delivery system for the cancer therapy. As an dynamic researcher she has h-index of 16, and publication of more than 30 scientific papers and review articles, 15 book chapters in reputed journals and publishing house. Apart from that she has co-authored one book (Remedial Biology) for the pharmaceutical students and the current book which includes of nanomedicine based drug delivery approaches for different cardiovascular disease. Being an active learner and enthusiastic worker of the team she has co-authored two patents, out of which one has acclaimed USA, Europe, Australian and other one Indian patent. By using patented technology, magnetic cell separation kit (QuikSort TM) has been developed for the separation of immune cells. She is serving as reviewer for various nanomedicinal journals and also  associated as editorial board member.
