In recognition of these achievements, he became an IEEE Fellow, a member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) and the National Academy of Engineering of Korea. (NAEK). Currently, Professor Lee is in charge of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in AI at SNU and serves as the president of the Korean Computer Vision Society (KCVS).
