Original research, Tobacco Smoking and Risk for Pulmonary Fibrosis, finds that the intensity of smoking presents a dose-response association with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, strengthening the hypothesis for a potentially causal association. - Chest Infections
An examination of cystic fibrosis registries in the US and Canada in original research, Survival and Lung Transplant Outcomes for Individuals with Advanced Cystic Fibrosis Lung Disease in the United States and Canada: An Analysis of National Registries, finds that there is underutilization of lung transplant in the US, especially in vulnerable populations.
