Staffordshire University is pleased to announce the 20th consecutive Conference on Clinical Biomechanics. As in the previous years, the conference provides a forum for information dissemination on clinical biomechanics and will facilitate discussion on research and case studies in this field.  This year's conference will take place on 21st - 23rd April 2022 and will be hosted from Staffordshire University's television studios in Stoke-on-Trent with participants able to attend in-person or online. 

The overall conference content will focus on musculoskeletal biomechanics and assistive technology, with a series of sessions broadly covering the following topics:

  1. Footwear biomechanics
  2. Clinical outcomes based on biomechanics
  3. Mobility Assistive Technology
  4. Rehabilitation
  5. Congenital musculoskeletal conditions

The conference will feature keynote speakers who will outline the latest developments in the area and highlight the role of technology in understanding biomechanical principles with a focus on diagnosis and management of patients. There will be opportunities for debate and analysis of issues surrounding these topics.
