Diabetes-related amputations among racial, ethnic minority adults after Medicaid expansion

What The Study Did: This study found a relative improvement in the amputation rate for diabetic foot ulcers among African American, Hispanic and other racial and ethnic minority adults in states that were early adopters of Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act compared with non-expansion states.
