TUCSON, Arizona — Rates of hospitalization and major amputations among racial and ethnic minority adults with diabetic foot ulcers decreased in states that adopted Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), according to researchers at the University of Arizona Health Sciences.
