About the editor:

Dr. M. Tabish Qidwai is an associate professor at the SRM University, Lucknow-Deva road, Uttar Pradesh. India. He previously served as an assistant professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow (A Central University) from 2015-2018; an assistant professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Raja Balwant Singh College Agra, UP He did his masters in technology in Biotechnology from the Institute of Engineering & Technology, Lucknow. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Lucknow, India.

His research interests are focused on functional genomics and immunology especially polymorphisms, immunogenetics, biochemistry and computational biology. He has received various prestigious awards including the Rashtriya Gaurav Award for remarkable contributions to Science and Technology, Chancellor Gold Medal for the first rank in University, the Young Researcher Award and several certificates of appreciation for significant contribution. Currently, he is working as a section editor in the Current Indian Science Journal (Bentham Science). He has more than 9 years of teaching and research experience in genomics and immunology. He has authored a book on "Exploration of host genetic factors associated with malaria" which is published in Springer-Nature. He has published more than 32 research and review articles in peer-reviewed international journals and authored numerous book chapters. He is a member of many national and international scientific societies and organizations including the Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Biophysical Society, Society of Biological Chemists India, Member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), China, and the European Federation of Biotechnology.
