The book “Artificial Intelligence and Natural Algorithms“ is based on Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Nature Inspired Algorithms in different areas of Computer Science. Artificial Intelligence (AI) encompasses by means of computers to do things that customarily need human intelligence. It also includes acting on data, learning from new data, and improving over time, just corresponding to a small human kid growing up into a smarter human adult. Nature-inspired algorithms are a set of original problem-solving practices and approaches and take enticing substantial consideration for their respectable act. Even with the fame of nature-inspired algorithms, several tests endure, which need extra research efforts. In this book, we focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and optimization algorithms for data analytical processes.
Each chapter in this book is written by topic experts on AI, nature-inspired algorithms and data science. The basic concepts relevant to these topics are explained, including evolutionary computing (EC), artificial neural networks (ANN), swarm intelligence (SI), and fuzzy systems (FS). Additionally, the book also covers optimization algorithms for data analysis. It contains typical examples of nature-inspired algorithms and they have been useful to resolve several actual problems.
About the Editors:
Dr. Rijwan Khan received his B. Tech Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from BIT, M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from IETE, and Ph.D.in Computer Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. He has 16 years of Academic & Research Experience in various areas of Computer Science. He is currently working as Professor and Head of Department Computer Science and Engineering at ABES Institute of Technology, Ghaziabad U.P. He is author of three subject books. He published more than 50 research papers in different journals and conferences. He has been nominated in the board of reviewers of various peer-reviewed and refereed Journals. He is Editor of five research books. He is Editor of two special issues of SCI and Scopus indexed journals. He was session chaired in three International conferences & Keynote speakers in some the national and International conferences.
Dr. Pawan Sharma is M.sc & Ph.d. in Mathematics. He has about 16 years of Academic & Research Experience in various field of Mathematics & Computer science branches like Optimization theory, Fuzzy graph, Reliability theory, Artificial Intelligence. He is currently working as an Associate Professor & Head of Department Applied Sciences at Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Gr. Noida U.P. He also has rich experience of teaching in the Work Integrated learning Programs Division of BITS, Pilani (Rajasthan) for a long time in collaboration with Wipro, TechMahindra, Maruti Suzuki, and HCL. He published approximate 15-20 research papers in different journals and conferences. He is co-editor of two research books. He was session chaired in two International conferences & Keynote speakers in some the national and International conferences
Dr. Sugam Sharma obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Iowa State University, USA in 2013. His research interests include Big Data, Cloud Computing, Multidimensional Databases, GIS, Sensor Network, Smart Home, and Social Informatics. Previously, he also has worked as a software consultant at NAVTEQ Traffic Inc., and System Analyst at Ames National Laboratory, USA. Dr. Sharma also holds MS in Computer Science from Jackson State University, USA and BE in Computer Science from Roorkee, India. He is editor in chief for IJSTDS Inderscience, associate editor, for SUSCOM Elsevier, executive editor for IJECSA Inderscience, and topic editor for Information Journal, MDPI. He has published several research papers in high impact factor venues and Dr. Sharma’s published work on hunger (eFeed-Hungers) got international media attention and he was interviewed by several news and media outlets. In 2018, the eFeed-Hungers research product was subsequently transformed into a startup company eFeed-Hungers.com, and presently, Dr. Sharma serves as the Founder/Executive for eFeed-Hungers.com, a research-driven smart technology, fighting global hunger.
Prof. Santosh Kumar (PhD) obtained his PhD from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India in 2002. Currently, he is working as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at University of Dar us Salaam (Tanzania). His research interests are mainly in the areas of mathematics including Nonlinear Analysis (Fixed point theory and its applications), Theory of Differential Equations and its applications, Mathematical Modelling and Computational Mathematics. He has published over sixty research articles in reputable international journals of mathematics. Besides this, he has published 12 books for graduate mathematics courses. He is associated as editor in several journals and reviewer of prestigious mathematical journals.
