Chicago, February 15, 2023 — JAMA Health Forum today announces its partnership with AcademyHealth, an agreement that will strengthen the journal’s connections to AcademyHealth’s premier membership of health services researchers, policymakers, and health care practitioners and stakeholders.

Under the partnership, AcademyHealth recognizes JAMA Health Forum as an official journal of AcademyHealth, joining several other major health policy journals. AcademyHealth will encourage its over 4,000 members to submit their research articles to JAMA Health Forum, and JAMA Health Forum will have a presence on the AcademyHealth website and at the AcademyHealth Annual Research Meeting. AcademyHealth will also be featured on the JAMA Health Forum website.

“I am delighted to begin this partnership with AcademyHealth, which is fully aligned with JAMA Health Forum,” said John Z. Ayanian, MD, MPP, Editor in Chief, JAMA Health Forum. “The peer-reviewed research and opinion articles published in JAMA Health Forum – including many articles written by AcademyHealth members – are of great interest to AcademyHealth’s membership. The JAMA Network shares AcademyHealth’s commitment to advancing the fields of health services research and health policy to improve health and promote health equity.”
