The future of mental health: Mind Aging Clock reports redefine wellness and resilience

Deep Longevity Ltd

The Mind Age clock, developed by Deep Longevity, utilizes machine learning algorithms to predict an individual's psychological age based on data collected from a simple psychological test. The resulting aging report provides valuable insights into motivation, personal growth, environmental mastery, purpose in life etc., and has the capacity to revolutionize the mental health industry with personalized, data-driven insights.

If you want to learn more about Mind Age or the underlying technology, you may want to join the launch of MindAge on the SenoClock platform. The virtual event is scheduled at 10AM ET on the 20th of April. Click here to confirm your participation

According to Deepankar Nayak, the CEO of Deep Longevity, "Mind Age reports represent a major breakthrough in our understanding of the human mind and offer unique insights and motivations to improve wellbeing and resilience. By taking a holistic approach to mental health and providing specific, actionable results, they have the potential to transform the way mental health consultations are conducted, and ultimately improve the lives of millions of people around the world."

The mental health crisis is a burgeoning problem across the world. The pandemic and its aftermath have only worsened the situation. Will these reports be able to change that reality for the better?

Mind Age reports are organized in sections, each one covering an aspect of mental health and offering ways to improve a user’s psychological well-being:

Mind Age vs Chronological Age

Mind age refers to the mental state most typical for people of a certain age group. Chronological age is simply the age in calendar years.

Higher mind age usually indicates poor psychological state showing, stress, inability to form stable relationships, low self-esteem whereas lower mind age as compared to chronological age indicates the tendency to explore new ideas, meet new people and create a better future for oneself.

Baselining the Mind Age, create a quantifiable framework for improving mental health and wellness.

Understanding the parameters of psychological well-being

The next section in the Mind Age report deals with the psychological profile created by the algorithm. It uses the popular Ryff Scale to depict well-being on six distinct parameters.

The report provides a score across the six wellbeing parameters. Users can see how individual facets of their personality affect their psychological well-being and to what degree. Where they’re doing well in life and where they need to improve.

The report then explains each of these parameters in detail. What do they mean? What does your score say about your daily experience in life? Why it matters?

According to Fedor Galkin, the Director of Research at Deep Longevity, “By dwelling into the specific effect of each parameter, these reports provide a quick and simple analysis of the current mental state of the user. It will not only help a mental health professional understand their patient better but also offer personalized care based on the predictions."

And it doesn't end there!

Beyond diagnosis: Self-organized and self-managed mental health care

The next section of Mind Age report provides individuals with personalized recommendations and simple steps to improve their mental health.

No two people dealing with mental health will have the same experience or issue. One's path to wellness will be different based on where one stands in the journey of life. This is one of the reasons mental healthcare has become so expensive.

Behind the scenes, the aging clock profiles people into different psychological types. The algorithm projects one’s test results on a 2D heat map, which allows the AI to pinpoint where exactly a person stands in their path to genuine happiness and longevity and where’s the next higher plane of wellbeing.

The self-organizing map (SOM) then generates the optimal self-improvement route unique to the individual with a set of recommendations.

Mind Age clock enables a person to get their psychological age and well-being report within minutes and start taking positive steps to improve their situation.

These reports have the potential to change the way the mental health industry operates today.

About Deep Longevity:

Deep Longevity is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Endurance Longevity (SEHK:0575.HK), a publicly traded company. Deep Longevity explores AI in the context of human health and longevity. With the mission to extend healthy human life, the research firm has developed multiple AI-enabled aging clocks that can predict subjective age based on different data types. For example – hematological, psychological, visual, epigenetic, microbiomic, molecular, tissue, and others. Top longevity clinics and hospitals around the world are already using their aging clocks to help patients extend life.

Deep Longevity has published multiple peer-reviewed research articles and studies to demonstrate the viability and efficacy of their aging clocks. They also hold a number of published and pending patents (IP). However, their research is far from complete. Their scientists continue to discover the dimensions of human aging and longevity
