The 16th World Congress on Polyphenols Applications will be held on September 28-29, at Corinthia Palace Malta. This year’s fabulous lineup of internationally renowned speakers will present new findings and insights from research on polyphenols.

Polyphenols Applications 2023: Note from the President

Prof. Jan Frederik Stevens, President of Polyphenols Applications 2023, stated:

“Our scientific sessions include topics on the mechanistic effects of polyphenols in health and disease, on how polyphenols improve gut health, on the potential anti-aging effects of polyphenols, on the wound healing properties of polyphenols, on their protective properties against sunlight-induced skin damage, and on the reciprocal connection between polyphenols and the environment.

While our new conference topics emphasize the health-promoting properties of polyphenols, we will still discuss the more traditional aspects of polyphenols, including their chemical analysis in foods, novel natural and unusual sources of polyphenols, and the upcycling of industrial waste streams for the development of novel polyphenol-containing consumer products.”
