Chicago, June 30, 2023 – JAMA and the journals in the JAMA Network are among the highest in their respective fields, according to the 2023 update to Clarivate’s annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR).

 

“The strength of the JAMA Network is clearly reflected in these numbers,” said Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, MD, PhD, MAS, editor in chief of JAMA and the JAMA Network. “The 13 journals of the JAMA Network share one mission: to publish the best research related to health. JAMA received a Journal Impact Factor of 120.7, placing it among the top journals in science and medicine. Nine of the 13 journals in the JAMA Network are in the top 3 in their respective fields.
