Caption

The fluorescence of EYFP expressed in layer 5 pyramidal neurons was imaged with two-photon microscopy. Fluorescence intensity increased during optical clearing with SeeDB-Live. The primary somatosensory cortex (depth, 590 μm) of a 4-month-old Thy1-YFP-H mouse was imaged.
