KAIST Skin-Conformable Micro-LED Mask Boosts Skin Rejuvenation, Brightening, and Synergistic Benefits with Polynucleotide (PN) Injections (IMAGE)
Caption
Figure 2. Mechanism underlying the combined cosmetic effects of PN skin-rejuvenation injections and the Skin-Conformable Surface-Emitting Micro-LED Mask. Red-light irradiation following PN injections promotes mitochondrial activation, ATP production, fibroblast proliferation, and collagen and elastin formation at sites of microinjury, swelling, and inflammation. It also induces macrophage polarization toward a reparative phenotype, reducing inflammation and synergistically enhancing skin rejuvenation, brightening, and post-procedure recovery.
