André Bachmann, PhD, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and Caleb Bupp, MD, FACMG, Corewell Health, combine laboratory research and clinical expertise to study rare genetic disorders. Their discovery of Bachmann-Bupp syndrome and subsequent work with DFMO provide the foundation for a new NIH-funded center that will investigate rare genetic and developmental disorders in children.
