André Bachmann, PhD, Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, and Caleb Bupp, MD, FACMG, Corewell Health, are leading a new five-year NIH-funded Center for Polyamine Disorders that builds on their discovery of Bachmann-Bupp syndrome, a rare genetic disorder. The $7.6 million grant will expand research into polyaminopathies and accelerate efforts to develop new diagnostic approaches and treatments.
