Immunofluorescent Staining of Drosophila Ovaries Containing Oocytes (IMAGE)
Caption
The red-stained H4K16ac histone modification is clearly visible in the individual oocytes. The enzyme MOF (green) is responsible for the deposition of the H4K16ac modification. The DNA (cyan), the carrier of the genetic information, has also been stained to become visible.
