Organoids cultured from tumor and healthy tissue of a patient with head and neck cancer. Left: the organoids are stained with H&E: hematoxilin (purple) and eosin (pink), a standard staining used in the hospital to differentiate between different types of cells. Right: the organoids are stained for the protein TP53 (brown) , which indicates that these are tumor cells.
