Mice lacking tetranectin (KO) were more susceptible to tissue injury and lethal sepsis than control animals (WT). This material relates to a paper that appeared in the Apr. 15, 2019, issue of <i>Science Translational Medicine</i>, published by AAAS. The paper, by W. Chen at Northwell Health in Manhasset, NY; and colleagues was titled, "Identification of tetranectin-targeting monoclonal antibodies to treat potentially lethal sepsis."
