Photocatalytic Material (IMAGE)
Caption
The novel 3-D photocatalytic material, developed by scientists from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, and the Fuzhou University, China, combines dots of cadmium sulphide (zero-dimensional structures), the nanorods of zinc oxide (1-D structures), and graphene (2-D structures) -- and can be used to synthesize new chemical compounds.
