3-D Photocatalytic Material (IMAGE)
Caption
The innovative 3-D photocatalytic material, developed by scientists from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland, and the Fuzhou University, China, reacts primarily with visible light and activates new chemical compounds which store solar energy. The model pictured above shows graphene (black plate) and nanorods of zinc oxide (green rods).
