Fossil tooth of a sambar deer (Rusa unicolor) from the Tam Ham Marklot cave�s fossil assemblage. This species of deer is still found today in Southeast Asia. The area that was sampled for zinc isotope analyses, a long vertical groove, can be seen on the right tooth�s cone.
