Brookhaven physicist Aaron Stein, lead author on the study, is in the cleanroom at the Center for Functional Nanomaterials (CFN) at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Stein and his co-authors used the electron beam lithography writer in the background to etch templates that drive the self-assembly of block copolymers in precisely controllable ways.
