Metallic Glass Perfume Bottles (IMAGE)

Metallic glasses discovered in the 1990s behave similary to silicate glasses (window glass), as these blown metallic-glass bottles illustrate. The trick is to add atoms of various sizes to the melt that get in the way of the atoms arranging themselves in crystalline lattices.
