The government has begun what's called the Precision Medicine Initiatve, an effort to eventually tailor medical care to individual patients and their individual genetic traits. And as that process begins, many have believed that with Internet and smart-phone technology, it may be possible to reach many people who haven't easily been reached previously. But a new study from researchers at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis reports it may not be that easy after all.
