The Flyception2 system displays the activity of a neuron known as mAL during copulation. Recordings included (from left) a wide 'arena' view showcasing a male fly (blue dot) and a female (red dot), a fly view and three views from a fluorescence imaging camera that records ratiometric brain activity.
