分子1と分子2は、それぞれナノ構造に自己集合できる。紫外線をあてることで、分子1は、より短い断片3および4に分割され、分子2はより短い4および5に分割されることによって、元のナノ構造は分裂される。このようにして生成された、短い断片の混在により、分子を新しい形状に自然に結合することができる。
