image: The green skink (Prasinohaema virens) is another green-blooded lizard from the lowlands of Papua New Guinea. This is the only species that lays eggs, all other green-blooded species give birth to live young. This material relates to a paper that appeared in the 16 May 2018, issue of Science Advances, published by AAAS. The paper, by Z.B.
