Scanning EM of the Ependymal Surface

They both nicely illustrate the new concept that our study raises; namely that planar polarity of epithelia helps organize directional migration in the brain. This image relates to an article that appeared in the 13 January 2006 issue of the journal Science published by AAAS. This study, by Dr. K.
