The figure outlines the experimental setup for white neutron beam tests: neutron beam passes through a variable-aperture neutron switch, collimators 1 and 2 (with a 6 cm lead brick between the switch and collimator 1 to reduce intensity), bombards the partitioned target, and is finally captured by a neutron trap. Only Chamber 1 is installed to verify fission fragment identification. The experiment uses a 30 mm-diameter neutron beam spot with a flux of ~6.1×10⁵ cm⁻²·s⁻¹, operating in CSNS’s dual-bunch mode (25 Hz repetition rate, 410 ns proton bunch interval).
