Results of multi-track event processing. (IMAGE)
Caption
The figure displays the track reconstruction and splitting outcomes for overlapping particle tracks. The first image shows the original 3D track reconstruction, while subsequent images present separated individual tracks (blue lines) and original data points (circles). Using a weighted iterative Hough transform algorithm (4 inlays for parameter space discretization) and a 5 mm distance threshold (two-and-a-half pad diameters), the system effectively separates multi-track events. This method addresses the challenge of overlapping tracks in wide-energy-range white neutron experiments, ensuring accurate analysis of individual particle signals.
