15-Apr-2026 Methods and advances in RNA segment-selective labelling HEP Data Cooperation Journals RNA is fundamental to all life, governing gene expression, regulating biological processes, and influencing growth, development, and cellular metabolism. However, elucidating the precise mechanisms of these functions requires methods to probe the complex structure, dynamics, and interactions of RNA molecules. In recent years, RNA segment-selective labeling has emerged as an essential technique for studying RNA structure, function, and dynamics. Journal Biophysics Reports
15-Apr-2026 Potential therapeutic effect of stem cells on sensorineural hearing loss HEP Data Cooperation Journals Sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) remains a global health challenge with limited regenerative therapeutic options. This review delineates advancements in stem cell-based therapies, emphasizing their potential to restore auditory function through cellular regeneration and molecular modulation. Journal Biophysics Reports
14-Apr-2026 Back to the beach: Why did evolution return some animals to the water? Yale University In most narratives, the story of evolution is the story of organisms emerging from the ocean and eventually populating the land. But for some species that evolution also involved a return trip. Dozens of major mammal and reptile groups ultimately made their way back to the beach and into the water. A new Yale study has undertaken the task of explaining when and how this happened — and which species fully re-committed to the life aquatic. The study appears in the journal Current Biology. Journal Current Biology
