Underwater robots take to the deep to map unexplored oceans
University of SydneyAutonomous underwater robots from the University of Sydney are supporting an Australian Museum scientific expedition exploring the marine environment around Norfolk Island. The expedition aims to document previously unexplored reefs and to provide information to the local community, marine parks and museums in Australia and New Zealand about the state of seafloor (benthic) flora and fauna.

Universitat Jaume INishant Singh, a researcher at the Institute of Advanced Materials at the Universitat Jaume I in Castelló, has been awarded the 2025 Young Researcher Award in the group leader category by the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (RSEQ), a distinction that recognizes innovative advances by emerging leaders in the field of chemistry. The award ceremony will be held in November in Valencia.
