Her Border Collie mix was diagnosed with lymphoma, a cancer common in both dogs and people. 27-Jan-2025 Study to deepen understanding of rare disabling arthritis affecting children University of Birmingham Young people with a rare condition called Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) are taking part in clinical research to better understand the condition, including to find out why some children have more severe arthritis and others get better on first treatment. Among those taking part is Amy who was diagnosed with JIA at three years old but is now able to pursue an active life including violin and karate.
