Three PolyU innovative projects receive support from Smart Traffic Fund, enhancing driving safety and transportation efficiency

In the 23rd batch of the Smart Traffic Fund, three PolyU projects have received total funding of HK$18.6 million. With a focus on intelligent driving systems, wearable monitoring technologies and bus emergency braking solutions respectively, these projects aim to enhance transportation efficiency and driving safety.

A 2022 study published in the journal ECNU Review of Education analyzes early childhood curriculum reforms in China and Singapore, introducing the concepts of “curriculum hybridization” and “cultural glocalization.” By reviewing 42 studies, the authors show how global child-centered education models interact with local cultural values and classroom realities, highlighting the need for culturally and contextually appropriate curriculum reforms.
