FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Microplastics, tiny plastic particles found in everyday products from face wash to toothpaste, are an emerging threat to health and ecology, prompting a research team to identify what keeps them trapped in stream ecosystems.
Investigators from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA Health Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center will be involved in more than four dozen sessions at the annual meeting of the American Urological Association April 26 to 29.
